When We Are Closed
Whenever the surgery is closed, there will be a message on our telephone answering machines advising how a duty doctor may be contacted for emergency problems.
When you need urgent help, you should ring 111. Calls to the 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and /or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
