I qualified from Aberdeen, Scotland in 1989 and completed my training in Halifax in 1994. I joined the partnership at Station Road Surgery in 1996 and became a GP Trainer in 2004 and then GP Training Programme Director from 2009 to date.
My interests are in medical education, musculoskeletal medicine, diabetes, minor surgery and joint injections.

Since qualifying in 2012 I have worked as hospital doctor in a range of medical and surgical specialities with my primary interest being in acute and emergency medicine. I joined Station road as a Registrar in Feb 2019.

I’m a Yorkshire girl through and through. I went to school in Halifax and then to the University of Leeds Medical School where I qualified in 2013. I have worked in several hospitals and GP surgeries across West Yorkshire as part of my post-graduate training. I completed my GP training in August 2018 after spending my final year at Station Road Surgery, and I’m pleased to be back as a GP.
My special interests include minor surgery and joint injections. I am also undertaking a diploma in dermatology.

We have been a training practice since 1985 and so often have registrar doctors working at the practice. These are junior doctors whose previous experience has been largely confined to hospitals. They are attached to the practice for 12 months at a time
