Acute Prescriptions
Please note if you are requesting new medication or one that you have not had for a while you must give a reason for the request otherwise the prescription will be rejected.
Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions may be ordered by bringing or sending the right hand side of your prescription to the surgery, ticking the items needed.
Prescriptions can now be ordered online via the link at the top of this page. This service will also send you a message to let you know when your request has been actioned. You may also send in a request via e-mail to [email protected]
We DO NOT take prescription requests over the telephone.
Did you know you can order your medication up to 7 days before your next due date! Doing this allows 48hours for your GP to issue your prescription and send it to your chosen chemist. This then allows your chemist time to prepare your prescription and order any medication that the pharmacist maybe out of stock on. Please order your medication in plenty of time to allow any issues to be resolved before collection.
Important Notice: Prescriptions will be ready 48 working hours from ordering.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
